Dear friends and family,
I’m so sorry I haven’t been keeping in touch with you. Many different health challenges have been popping up that has caused me to feel fatigued and sometimes depressed. Recently my doctors have told me that they have found a blood clot near my abdomen that could create a life threatening blockage in my heart or lung. So tomorrow I’ll be going into Straub Hospital Radiology where they will extract the clot. There are risks but I know that God has control over what will happen. The doctors have also found that a possible cancer growth has also appeared in my upper spine. They want to treatment me by implanting a chemotherapy reservoir in my head. But because the treatment could be more harmful than the disease I’ve decided not to do it. I have no doubt that Christ has control and is watching over me, with his servant, my husband; he has taught me how to really live a happy life. Going through this life challenge has taught me not to take any day for granted. I’m seeing that the most important thing is to have a close and real relationship with God.The reality is that I may be meeting Him sooner than later so it’s urgent to develop a real relationship with my creator. No one knows when their final day will be so it’s important to get our spiritual household in order now. Well, it’s getting late and I have to get up early. My prayer is that I’ll be able to write back to you again.
Till then God bless; Love, Cheryl |
