Photographer Message:
For the past 6 years I've been given the opportunity to take the title of asst. producer, director, stylist, wardrobe, casting, coordinator, food service and oh, photographer.
It brings me great pleasure to share our local talent, vendors, hotels, make up and hair artist with the people of Hawaii.
On the shoot I was asked, "why do you do this, it's so much work?" I simply responded, "because it keeps me grounded and it's great seeing everyone exposed."
The shoot is a PG13 shoot, clean, fresh and stylish. Many times the model is selected for his/her inner beauty as well and on occasion I have put someone in the issue quietly to boost self esteem.
It's 2 days of non stop action that evolves into a spread I hope the people of Hawaii will enjoy. Especially each mother, father, boyfriend, sister, brother, uncle, aunty, grandmother, grandfather and on and on of each model.
Enjoy and always remember, beauty is truly unseen!

The Issue: Popular colors were green, brown and red with some patch type prints. From embroidered skulls on shorts to a hint of asian flair, this seasons swimwear will suit just about anyone.
The Challenge: For the aspiring photographer, this may interest you.
After casting the models, distributing swimsuits from all the vendors and styling each model, it all comes together if ..YOU are!
From hair and make up to the type of suit, being shot and where to shoot it are all to be considered. While dealing with the weather, spectators and new fans watching the shoot, being able to control your environment is important.
There are specific location spots that you are allowed to shoot at. You have 26 models and over 38 sets to shoot, with about 15 location spots available. Keeping in mind that you do not want to shoot the same spots as the prior year as the location was at the Hilton Hawaiian Village.
The suits are not to be soiled or wet. They must also be returned to specific hangers and vendor bags.
This is a PG13 issue so keeping it conservative and clean is a must.
It is essential to keep the models hydrated along with your staff so an abundance of water and snacks must be provided.
