Farwell 05

With so many highlights in one short year with too many tragedies to keep one still.  From fighting for freedom to mother nature, lives were taken in seconds.  And as seconds turned into minutes, the hours, days and months past, I found myself searching deeper for peace, strength and understanding.

We said goodbye to our uncles, aunts, mothers and fathers, our brothers, sisters and friends too. A tribute at my 10th Annual Birthday Celebration to those gone too soon, I looked up to the sky hoping for one last smile.  A special moment indeed, rasiing funds for Cancer and Project Shine, but it never feels enough, because there is so much left to do.

New friends, new fans, new clients and challenges too.  This 05, has been a growing one, mind, body, and soul.

I've learned that a friend is just another spirit learning and exploring with you.  I've learned that fans see you for what they want and not for who you are.  I've learned that people need to love deeper for themselves before giving love to someone else.  I've learned that there are way too much selfishness and not enough selflessness.  For those who know only selfish later learn how much less they really have.  I've learned that I can be disliked but I can still love who dislikes.   I have learned that when you face lifes uncertaintities, God is truly there.  I've learned that no matter what is in front of you, in back of you, next to you, you still stand alone.  I've learned that,  all the riches in the world is not important if your spirit has no home.  I've learned that death can be beautiful as it is birth into eternal light.
